About the Job

We are now looking for you who want to work as a passenger environment technician with us at Göteborgs Spårvägar!

We are looking for passenger environment technicians to our depot in Majorna.

Our depot belongs to the Vehicle and Operations Assurance department, and we have the task of delivering complete and clean trams to the people of Gothenburg all year round. We are about 300 employees working with material supply, technical development, and maintenance of our vehicle fleet. Our vision is world-class tram traffic, and to succeed, all our units must focus on collaboration and a desire to succeed together. Our depot consists of different teams with various tasks and responsibilities such as mechanics, electricians, sheet metal workers, and passenger environment technicians. You will belong to the passenger environment technician team responsible for cleaning and tidying trams. We implement LEAN for a standardized working method. During the night shift, we focus on the intake and release of vehicles.

As a passenger environment technician, you will focus on ensuring that the trams are delivered complete and clean in the daily flow. You will work according to existing routines to create the best possible experience for both drivers and passengers, which is of utmost importance for our product.

Main Responsibilities

• Heavy cleaning
• Cleaning
• Graffiti removal
• Sand system
• Repair of minor faults on trams

Working hours are mainly scheduled for nights throughout the year.

About You

• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Health approval for security service according to TSFS 2019:113, fitness certificate for quartz dust according to AFS 2019:03, and night work according to AFS 2019:03, as well as a passed drug test
• Personal suitability/maturity
• Swedish driving license with at least category B
• Basic computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience in cleaning
• Experience in night work

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of service and delivery who enjoys working with heavy cleaning during uncomfortable working hours. You are responsible and take your tasks seriously, completing what you start and ensuring that the work is done correctly. Since our primary focus is safety, you are also meticulous and ensure high quality. You will work closely with your colleagues in the team, which is why your ability to collaborate is high. If you are also loyal and flexible with a positive attitude as well as technically interested, it is a significant advantage.

We use psychological skill tests for candidates who meet the qualifications. These will be sent to you via email, so please be extra observant about that.

Health approval for security service according to TSFS 2019:113 and a passed drug test are required for the position.

Current salary is 155-165 SEK per hour plus OB and vacation compensation.
