We are now looking for a Housekeeping Manager who wants to take long-term responsibility for our housekeeping operations and contribute to high quality, clear working methods, and a pleasant environment – both for our guests and employees.

About the position

In the role of Housekeeping Manager, you have a central function in the hotel's daily operations and the overall responsibility for the housekeeping department. You plan, lead, and follow up on the work while ensuring that hotel rooms and public areas maintain a consistently high standard.

You work closely with the team in daily operational tasks and collaborate closely with the hotel manager and reception. The focus is on quality, efficient workflows, and a positive guest experience.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Planning, leading, and distributing the daily work within housekeeping
  • Ensuring a high and consistent cleaning standard in rooms and common areas
  • Introducing, supervising, and supporting the housekeeping staff
  • Developing, documenting, and following up on cleaning, laundry, and storage routines
  • Being responsible for purchasing and managing cleaning materials, textiles, and consumables
  • Identifying, reporting, and following up on damages, wear, and maintenance needs
  • Collaborating with reception and operations for smooth check-ins and check-outs
  • Being a role model in terms of accuracy, responsibility, and hospitality

Who we are looking for

You are a structured and confident leader who enjoys combining practical work with planning and responsibility. You have an eye for detail while also seeing the bigger picture and caring for a good working environment in the team.

We would like you to:

  • Have experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Be organized, meticulous, and solution-focused
  • Enjoy leading, motivating, and supporting employees
  • Be self-driven, flexible, and take great responsibility
  • Have a strong sense of service and understanding of the guest experience
  • Be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have good physical ability and be accustomed to active work

Employment form and working hours

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period as agreed.
