About the position

The home care service in Kinda Municipality is looking for a nursing assistant for free and stimulating work in a beautiful environment!

The home care service is part of the Health and Care Administration in Kinda Municipality.

The health and medical care responsibility of home care includes patients in ordinary housing, the municipality's special housing forms, and daily activities within elderly care and support for people with disabilities, as well as short-term accommodation. We also provide specialized home care (LAH) and are responsible for the newly started primary care places that are associated with the municipality's short-term places. As a nursing assistant, you will have care responsibility for a geographical area or units in special housing together with the team. The team based in home care includes nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. You will also collaborate closely with Kisa Health Center. The tasks are varied, and our patients are of all ages.

Kinda Municipality works for good and close care, including digitization, with several ongoing projects aimed at improving patients' opportunities to stay in their own homes. The patient's ability to influence their own care is important to us.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with an interest in home care and who wants to work in a smaller organization as part of a stable work group. Common tasks for a nursing assistant include wound care, medication distribution, medication management, sampling, injections, and other care interventions. All interventions are carried out under the delegation of a nurse.

A B driver's license and good oral and written skills in the Swedish language are required.

You need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions. Being attentive and empathetic is a given for you, as is having a holistic view in your work with people. It is a plus if you have worked for a while since graduation.
