Sales Associate Wanted at Kakelspecialisten

Are you a student who knows what it takes to provide excellent service through sales? Are you looking for a fun part-time job that you can combine with your studies? We are looking for driven sales associates who want to provide the highest possible service to customers.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking students on behalf of Kakelspecialisten who have energy and commitment and want to work in a customer advisory role where you will assist customers from the first meeting until they find their dream bathroom. With its 2800 sqm store, Kakelspecialisten is one of the largest stores in Scandinavia focusing on tiles and bathrooms.

We are now looking for you who are a student with a good sense of service and who wants to have a part-time job three weekdays a week for a long time, and possibly be available to work some Saturdays and during the summer. If you have your own car, there is free parking; otherwise, you can reach us from the central station in about 20 minutes using the green line of the subway.

Kakelspecialisten currently has 10 full-time employees, and ongoing training and a culture where colleagues help and support each other in daily work have resulted in low employee turnover.

For you, this means a solid introductory training where you will already from the start be part of Kakelspecialisten's mentorship program. This mentorship program is something your future colleagues went through during their first time, and it made them both secure and self-sufficient in the role.

You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Kakelspecialisten. The assignment will be part-time where you will be part of a student pool. You are expected to work 2-3 weekdays and every other Saturday, so we prefer that you are flexible. During the summer, you are also expected to work full-time to cover for regular staff. If the collaboration works well for all parties, the assignment will extend until the day you graduate. The position suits you as a student who wants to further develop within customer contact and customer relations. As Kakelspecialisten looks long-term at the collaboration, we also see that you have a planned graduation no earlier than June 2028.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers, consumers, craftsmen, and interior designers regarding tiles and bathroom furnishings
• Active sales in the store
• Ensure that every customer feels welcome and receives the best possible service in an inspiring store, where everyone together contributes professionally to a good customer experience

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Are studying at a post-secondary education and have at least 18 months left of your studies, and it is an advantage if you are studying interior design or a construction-related education. Or have another main occupation of at least 50% that extends 18 months ahead
• Fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as both languages are used in customer dialogues
• Can work three weekdays a week and are available for weekend work
• Have previous experience in roles such as salesperson, store employee, or equivalent role
• Have the right attitude, energy in your customer meetings, and high engagement

It is highly meritorious if you have product knowledge about tiles and bathroom furnishings.

Kakelspecialisten started in 1992 and initially had its store and warehouse in the Globen area. In 2011, the move took place three minutes away by car to Sockenvägen in Årsta, where it is now the market leader in tiles and bathroom furnishings.
