We are looking for two technicians for the Delivery unit at the Assistive Technology Center in Uddevalla.

Job Description

The work as a technician in delivery focuses on patient safety and good service. You contribute with your collaboration skills and technical competence to provide our customers with assistive devices. In this role, you will work both independently and in a team with:

• Deliveries of assistive devices
• Restoration of assistive devices (for reuse)
• Inventory management of used assistive devices
• Various administration within the framework of warehouse operations

About You

You have a completed high school education with a technical focus, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Since you will have many different contacts in your work, it is important that you communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have good computer skills and can easily work in various IT systems. You have good physical ability and an ergonomic work approach as the job may involve heavy lifting. The position requires a B driver's license (manual transmission) and good driving experience.

Previous work experience as a driver or experience in working with assistive devices or warehouse work is an advantage. A forklift license is also a plus.

About the Assistive Technology Center

The Assistive Technology Center is part of the Supply Administration within the Västra Götaland Region and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the Västra Götaland Region's own operations. We are located in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla.

Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the field of assistive technology and various service offerings to support the care chain. We handle purchasing, inventory management, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive devices. We also assist prescribers with, among other things, assistive technology advice, individual fittings, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training.
