About the Job

As a project manager/designer in Energy & Process, you play a key role in both project management and technical design/construction. You have overall responsibility for the entire process, from leading projects from idea to completion, as well as ensuring that technical solutions are well-designed and meet specifications. The role requires a combination of technical competence, organizational ability, and leadership. You report directly to the Project Manager for the business area and ensure that projects are carried out efficiently, structured, and safely.

As a Project Manager/Designer, you will plan, drive, and follow up on projects from start to final delivery according to the agreed timeline and budget. You are responsible for coordinating and communicating between different departments, such as technology, purchasing, production, and the customer, to ensure that project goals are met and that quality and safety standards are adhered to.

In the design work, you create technical solutions and produce production drawings in CAD systems, as well as develop and optimize technical solutions to meet customer specifications and requirements for sustainability and cost-effectiveness. You collaborate with other designers and production staff to ensure that the design can be manufactured and assembled efficiently. You also calculate costs and provide quotes for products and services to the customer.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with relevant technical experience, such as in the design or manufacturing of steel structures and sheet metal details, preferably with experience in welding or equivalent work experience in technical or industrial projects. You may be working as a mechanic and want to develop in design and drafting or have previously worked as a designer and want to take the next step to project manage. Experience with CAD programs and knowledge of material selection and experience collaborating with subcontractors are advantageous.

Previous experience in scheduling and budget follow-up as well as good leadership and communication skills are also advantageous. You work effectively in teams as well as independently and communicate fluently in Swedish, and preferably English, both verbally and in writing.

Scope and Location

Full-time. Based in Norrköping, but travel is included in the job.

Requirements: B driver's license
