Carpenter Wanted at Kolmården

We are now looking for an experienced carpenter who wants to be part of our dedicated property team. As a carpenter with us, you will enjoy a unique work environment where every day offers variety — from preserving historical wooden structures to creating new environments in our animal stalls, shops, and restaurants. All with the same goal of delivering world-class experiences!

About the Position

As a carpenter with us, you will work with:

• Performing construction and carpentry work in the park's various environments (animal stalls, shops, serving areas, public spaces).
• Repairing and maintaining wooden structures, furnishings, and outdoor environments.
• Participating in the planning and execution of projects, both new construction and renovation.
• Carrying out simpler assembly and material adaptations for shop and restaurant environments.

Other tasks within the organization may also occur as needed, contributing to the variety of work.

About You

We are looking for someone who is independent, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious. As a person, you thrive in a unique environment where planning and flexibility are important. Since a large part of the work is done in collaboration with colleagues from areas such as electrical, plumbing, and gardening, we expect you to have good communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a carpenter, preferably with a background in building service, maintenance, or property management.
• Broad knowledge of building carpentry, repair, and renovation.
• Manual B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good understanding of work environment and safety, especially when working near animals or visitors.

Experience working in a park environment, amusement park, zoo, or other public facility, as well as skills in basic concrete, painting, or landscaping work, are advantageous.

Employment

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a 6-month probationary period. Immediate start.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend. Collective agreement between Gröna Arbetsgivare and HRF. Salary according to agreement.
