The emergency department at Falu Hospital is tasked with providing specialized medical care for acutely seriously ill or injured citizens. This includes seven different medical specialties, 24/7.

Job Responsibilities

Are you a nurse who enjoys being at the center of events? Do you thrive on collaborating with others and prioritize patient care? Do you appreciate variation in both work and pace? Then the Emergency Department is the workplace for you!

As a nurse, working in an emergency department means many patient encounters. In the first meeting, you prioritize the patient using the triage system RETTS. The patient should always be the focus, which means that as a nurse, you have a care responsibility for the patient during their stay with us. You will be part of an inspiring and ambitious team of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors.

Region Dalarna offers a health-promoting working hours model that allows for shorter weekly working hours and a higher base salary for those working in a 24/7 operation. Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with previous healthcare experience who feels confident in your professional role.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in emergency care and/or have further education in emergency care.

• You appreciate challenges and a job with varied tasks and pace changes
• You are a confident, self-sufficient person who takes responsibility for your tasks
• In your interactions with patients, you have an empathetic and service-oriented approach
• You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards colleagues
• You are structured and can prioritize, and you have a genuine interest in developing your skills in care and emergency care
• You possess a humble attitude and have an ethical approach to your surroundings
