JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park and street worker with us, you will work practically with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's parks and streets, green areas, squares, playgrounds, and other public environments. The work is varied, physical, and largely outdoors.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Daily maintenance of the municipality's outdoor environments
• Weeding and watering
• Trimming, mowing
• Cleaning
• Care of trees, shrubs, hedges, perennials, and annuals
• Maintenance of paths, trails, and playgrounds
• Other tasks within street/park
• The position includes on-call duty for snow and ice control as well as other tasks within the unit's area of responsibility.

You will be part of a workgroup that works closely together, where we help each other, support one another, and share each other's knowledge and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education or vocational training in horticulture or equivalent competence
• Experience in street maintenance, park care, and/or gardening
• Driver's license with at least B category is a requirement

It is advantageous if you have:

• Wheel loader license
• Work on road 1.3
• Lift license
• Experience driving tractors/machines with tools
• License C
• Experience with handheld machines for parks and forests
• Good plant knowledge
• Experience in maintenance and supervision of playgrounds
