Hilmér Lantbruk AB is run by the Hilmér family consisting of Karin and Per-Olof, Gustav, and Oscar. We are driven by a constant desire to develop and improve in all areas. Our operations include pig farming, crop production, contracting, and energy production. We have a total of 22 people working daily in the various operations.

Job Description

Do you want to be part of our client's successful agricultural business? We are now looking for an engaged and structured person who enjoys taking responsibility, leading others, and being close to production in daily work.

As an operations manager at Hilmér Lantbruk, you will play a central role in our large-scale pig production. You will be responsible for driving and following up on daily work in production, ensuring that routines are followed, and that work flows according to plan. You will:

• Plan, distribute, and follow up on tasks within the team.
• Work with production monitoring and data analysis, including in Excel.
• Contribute to staffing solutions and personnel transfers between departments.
• Be involved in both practical work in the barns and administrative work in the office.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of routines and processes.

The position is broad and suits you who thrive in both operational and leadership tasks, with a strong focus on structure, responsibility, and collaboration. The work is scheduled during daytime hours from 7 AM to 4 PM. On-call duty may become relevant in this position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a natural leader with the ability to engage and create structure. You do not need to have previous experience in pig production – the most important thing is your willingness to learn and your interest in developing within agriculture.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Experience in leadership, operations, or coordination – preferably within production or agriculture.
• Good knowledge of Excel and the ability to work with data and monitoring.
• A confident and communicative personality that builds trust within the team.
• The ability to analyze, plan, and make decisions in everyday situations.
• A driver's license and access to a car.
