We are looking for a Master Planner for our client. You will be the hub of their planning, responsible for conveying the factory's needs and requirements into S&OP.

Job Description

As the Master Planner, you will have primary responsibility for production planning at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. You will ensure that demand is met with the right capacity, develop the planning process, and drive improvements to reduce costs and increase delivery precision. You will be responsible for forecasts for inventory and volume, follow up on results, and initiate activities for goal fulfillment. You will ensure that the inventory process is followed and further developed, and you will compile the factory's reporting in S&OP. In case of deviations in purchasing (lead times, deliveries, price), you will act quickly and structured.

Your mission in brief:

• Lead production planning operationally, tactically, and strategically
• Ensure and develop the inventory process
• Be responsible for S&OP reporting and relevant KPIs
• Optimize inventory levels and holding costs
• Drive forecasts for volume and inventory and initiate the right actions
• Own MPS/MFG-Pro data & register maintenance, including item setup
• Be the coordinating function in our development projects
• Your team should be driving the implementation of Team Center from the factory's perspective.
• Planning's representative in the local management team
• Lead and distribute tasks within the planning team

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of production and demand planning at all levels
• Documented experience in forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost control
• Experience and knowledge in production preparation work
• Experience and knowledge in operational purchasing
• Experience in budget work from a planning and purchasing perspective
• Ability to develop processes and metrics
• Very good system proficiency in MPS/MFG-Pro or equivalent
• Good collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally
• Project management
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish

Your profile:

You have deep knowledge of production and demand planning, are confident in forecasting and inventory optimization, and enjoy developing processes and metrics. You are system-oriented (MPS/MFG-Pro or equivalent) and like to translate data into action.

You are unpretentious and understand that you need to be able to move between operational and strategic work.
