About Us

Vårdcentralen City is a well-established healthcare center with over 17,400 registered patients and approximately 70 employees. All professions in primary care are represented at the unit. We also have a child health center and a family center. Vårdcentralen City is located in the center of Eskilstuna. The primary care emergency service operates on weekends in the premises of Vårdcentralen City in collaboration with other healthcare centers in Eskilstuna. We work with the Close Care transformation, which means that we co-create with residents and shift focus to work more person-centered, integrated, proactive, and health-promoting.

Your Responsibilities

The work consists of a constant variation of tasks such as telephone advice, digital healthcare contacts, and outpatient visits. Emergency shifts in the primary care emergency service occur. You drive your own work but also contribute to the overall functioning of the healthcare center and develop the operations together with us. As an employee with us, there are good opportunities for development. We apply working hours that allow you to influence your working hours within given frameworks as far as the operations permit. Your tasks include collaboration with other professions regarding simple and complex conditions, telephone advice, clinical assessments, and actions with a person-centered approach. You work with a health-promoting perspective and provide support for people of all ages and health conditions. You make independent assessments, examinations, and triage to the correct level of care. You meet your patients physically, virtually, or via telephone. Here, we strive for a broad competence, as the breadth of our assignment area is large. At the healthcare center, we work in teams, so if you are curious and enjoy teamwork, apply to us. Work in the primary care emergency service is also included in the assignment.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse or nurse who wants to work in a pleasant workplace characterized by job satisfaction. Previous work experience and experience from working in primary care are meritorious but not a requirement; we would like you to have prescribing rights. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and personal qualities such as good communication, teamwork ability, independence, flexibility, and competence, as well as the ability to prioritize and focus on the patient.
