Do you want to help develop our students' health and well-being in close collaboration with the school's other staff by working preventively and health-promoting? Then you are the person we are looking for. We are now seeking a school nurse for Entréskolan in Eskilstuna 45% and Västerås 30%. The position is 75% for both schools but can also be divided into two positions at each school depending on personal preferences. We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with specialized training in pediatric nursing, district nursing, and school nursing or equivalent education. We would also like you to have experience working with children and young people within the school environment.

Entréskolan is an aesthetic primary school for grades 4-9 with a focus on active learning through creative expression based on aesthetic forms in subject-integrated work areas. Entréskolan has locations in Västerås, Stockholm, Eskilstuna, and Örebro. We offer four aesthetic orientations: theater, music, dance, and art.

Entréskolan is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach in various work areas. We work to ensure that every student is involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a school nurse with us, you are an important part of that work.

As a school nurse at Entréskolan, you are part of the school's active student health team that works closely with other staff. The student health team primarily works preventively and health-promoting to support students' development towards educational goals. Your main tasks are therefore health promotion and preventive health work at the individual, group, and organizational levels, with good opportunities to influence and develop the content of the work. The health promotion and preventive tasks include health visits, health conversations, vaccinations, issues related to students' working environment, the school's values, and lifestyle-related health issues, as well as simpler medical interventions. Your tasks also include conducting group-oriented interventions. You collaborate with guardians, social services, and other healthcare units, among others.
