The Role of Care Assistant with Us

Working in the night patrol means you are part of a team that meets our care recipients' needs during the night. You will respond to both planned interventions and emergency calls throughout the night, and sometimes you will also sit vigil. There is an opportunity to drive both single and double-staffed vehicles.

Your Profile

To thrive with us, you need to be flexible, willing to think outside the box, and have an interest in change work that challenges old patterns. You have good computer skills and are comfortable handling technical solutions in your daily work. You collaborate well with others, have a solution-focused approach, and deliver high quality in your work. As a person, you are empathetic, proactive, and attentive in new situations, and you have a natural respect for your fellow human beings, both care recipients and colleagues. Personal suitability will be of great importance.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained care assistant
• has good computer skills
• holds a B driver's license
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working as a care assistant at night
• experience in home care or elderly care

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Control of own data in the criminal record. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title.
