Job Description

The tasks consist of investigation, counseling, and treatment of various medical conditions related to diet. A portion of the position can be remote. You will meet patients individually or in groups. You will also be responsible for internal training for other employees. You will work with a public health focus, such as health conversations.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

• Conducting nutritional assessments and evaluations of patients' nutritional status.
• Designing and implementing individually tailored nutritional actions to meet patients' specific needs and goals.
• Providing advice and support to patients with diet-related health issues, such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive problems.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated care plan.

You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff for a holistic approach to primary care and document in the journal system. You will be part of an on-call service where dietitians cover for each other during absences, such as in the summer.

About You

We are looking for a licensed dietitian with experience in your professional role; experience in primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and have a solution-focused approach. The work requires good collaboration skills and the ability to thrive as part of a team, but also the ability to work independently. It is also important that you have a strong ability and willingness to develop the organization and can consider the bigger picture while looking out for the best interests of the entire organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
