As a caretaker with us, you will have a varied job where practical caretaking meets IT support. You contribute every day to a safe and pleasant school environment for students and staff.
Your tasks
You will work at several schools and preschools within educational units 1 and 2. The unit consists of three schools, three preschools, and a high school unit with approximately 839 students and 150 employees working closely together in different teams.
As a caretaker, you play an important role in creating safe, functional, and pleasant learning environments. The position is a combination of caretaking and IT assignments, which means a varied job where you work both independently and in collaboration with staff, administrators, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Your work includes property maintenance, reporting faults, repairs, troubleshooting, and providing service to staff and students. You participate in systematic work environment and fire safety efforts, manage relocations, and technical installations, and provide IT support when needed. An important part of the role is also to build good relationships and contribute to safety and comfort in the operations.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school education and a B driver's license. You have experience in property maintenance, upkeep, repairs, and basic craftsmanship. You also have good computer skills and the ability to handle digital tools and technical equipment. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

You need to be able to work independently and have the ability to take your own initiatives and prioritize while also being good at collaborating with others.
