Överkalix Municipality is looking for a dedicated chef for our municipal food service.

You will prepare nutritious and delicious meals with a focus on quality, sustainability, and service. Together with other kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and cooking with high quality in a kitchen where joy in food is central.

Job Description

The food service belongs to the Technical Department and consists of several reception kitchens. Here, 650 portions are prepared daily for preschools and schools, elderly care, and home care. A new production kitchen is on the way, and we are introducing new technology, including a digital meal program that facilitates planning, ordering, and documentation of meals.

The position includes regular chef duties, such as preparing regular and special diets, salad buffets, dishwashing, ordering, cleaning, packing food, and leading the daily operations in production.

The employment begins with an introduction to help you feel secure in your role.

Qualifications

• Chef/catering education or equivalent education as assessed by the employer
