We are now looking for summer substitutes at Villa Orrholmen care home in Karlstad for the summer of 2026. Our operations are conducted in new, fresh premises, and we have a wonderful team in place ready to welcome new colleagues. You will receive introductory training with valuable knowledge about care and service.

About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

About Villa Orrholmen

The facility is located near the center of Karlstad and is surrounded by Lake Vänern. We have a total of 60 apartments spread over three floors. Two floors have a total of 40 places for residents with dementia, and one floor has 20 places with a somatic focus. We are looking for a nursing assistant for both the dementia department and the somatic department.

• Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and response via the Dementia Academy.

• Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the facility. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
