Strategic Buyer

Do you enjoy keeping track of details, driving purchasing processes forward, and ensuring that the right materials are in place at the right time? We are looking for a strategic buyer who is solution-oriented, structured, and has a good understanding of both operational needs and business decisions. You will play an important role working closely with suppliers, production, and internal teams to ensure smooth flows and cost-effective purchases.

About the Role

As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for managing daily purchasing operations. You will drive the purchasing process from need to delivery, ensuring that purchases are made according to plan and that suppliers deliver according to agreed terms. You are a key person in keeping production running and quickly resolving any disruptions in the supply chain.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing queue and send requests for quotation (RFQ)
• Create and update purchase orders (PO)
• Follow up on deliveries and production
• Handle invoices and discrepancies
• Be the first point of contact for supplier issues
• Support temporary staff and manage various purchasing-related inquiries
• Continuously update calculations and purchasing data
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure needs and quality

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a few years of experience in tactical purchasing
• Is detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused
• Has good communication skills and enjoys collaborating
• Understands business processes and purchasing systems
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
