Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead functional safety activities in alignment with industry standards and project goals.
- Guide and mentor two agile software teams in FuSa methodologies, enabling them to work independently within a set timeframe.
- Design and implement electrical and electronic systems, defining system purpose, interfaces, and behaviors.
- Ensure system and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented and verified.
- Drive operational and short-term activities, ensuring quality and readiness before releases.
- Lead concept investigations and facilitate the exploration of alternatives to establish system-level concepts.
- Support the product manager by clarifying capability needs and breaking them down into actionable features.
- Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture strategies.
- Manage interfaces and non-functional requirements within the scope of agile release trains.
What you bring:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in functional safety engineering, with a proven track record of leadership in this domain.
- Expertise in designing and delivering electrical and electronic systems, with a focus on system behaviors and component interfaces.
- Deep understanding of functional safety standards and their application in agile software environments.
- Strong skills in operational planning, quality assurance, and system readiness.
- Ability to lead technical teams, integrating and aligning contributions to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing system architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Proven ability to mentor and educate teams, fostering their growth and independence in FuSa-related tasks.
- Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and the ability to leverage networks to maintain a competitive edge.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- English proficiency is sufficient for this role.
