Your job offer
As a sales representative at Makita, you will become a valuable member of an engaged team of professional salespeople who are passionate about offering customers the most outstanding tools on the market. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop strong customer relationships, understand their specific needs, and provide tailored solutions using Makita's impressive range of products.
Your responsibilities
- Regularly visit stores and customers to ensure the right assortment, exposure, and optimize Makita's presence while sharing best practices and insights with the sales organization.
- Visit construction sites, industries, and many more workplaces where you actively engage existing and new customers who then purchase through retailers selling Makita.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify business opportunities to expand Makita's operations.
- Drive sales and increase the exposure of Makita's products by strategically working with retailers and end customers. You optimize store assortments and floor space, ensure product knowledge, and position Makita as the first choice.
- Negotiate agreements and terms, both new and existing, with a focus on Makita's best interests, in collaboration with management and KAM.
- Analyze sales results and market insights to create strategic actions and present monthly reports on sales and market development.

Our expectations
We are looking for someone who is engaged, service-oriented, and results-driven, with a genuine interest in sales, machines, and relationship building. You have at least a high school education and experience in sales, preferably in field sales or direct sales, ideally in the construction or industrial sector. To quickly familiarize yourself with and credibly demonstrate Makita's wide range, we see that you have technical and practical experience with tools and machines. Your background has also given you the ability to work in a structured, independent manner with personal responsibility for results.
To succeed in this role, you are social, attentive, and skilled at building and developing long-term customer relationships. You enjoy working proactively with customers, can prioritize correctly, and make strategic decisions to achieve the best possible business results. You have an innovative approach and see opportunities for improvements that strengthen Makita's position in the market. Fluent Swedish, good knowledge of English, system proficiency, and a B driver's license are a given.
As a person, you are positive, solution-oriented, and goal-oriented, with the ability to adapt to different situations and customer needs. You are motivated by creating new business and developing existing relationships, always focusing on long-term success for both you and Makita.
