Medical Secretary at the Orthopedic Clinic

The working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid work environment that gives you the flexibility to combine on-site work with working from home 1-2 days a week, when possible based on the needs of the organization. This position is a temporary contract until May 2027 and is located at the orthopedic clinic in Halmstad, where you will be part of a cohesive and collaborative team.

About the Workplace

The healthcare administration unit, area 3 at Halland Hospital, constitutes its own operational unit that is tasked with providing administrative support and service to several of the area's clinics, including the surgical clinic, operating and intensive care clinics, orthopedic clinic, urology clinic, as well as oncology and palliative medicine clinics.

Our close-knit organization of medical secretaries promotes a flexible working method and focuses on journal documentation, IT support, and administrative support for healthcare processes. Within our organization, there are about 80 dedicated employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary. You are responsible and appreciate varied tasks. We also see that you have a positive attitude towards change and development work.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language as well as medical terminology. You have a good ability to express yourself both in writing and verbally. You are computer literate and have an aptitude for handling many tasks simultaneously. You also have the ability to plan and prioritize in your daily work.

We have a rotating working method, which requires you to be flexible, able to work both independently and in a team, and have good collaboration skills. You are a stable person who is distinctly service-oriented. Sensitivity and accuracy are qualities we value highly, as well as contributing to a good atmosphere in the team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
