Psychiatric Nurse for the Bipolar Team in Bollnäs

The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Bollnäs is a general psychiatric clinic for residents over 18 years old. We are responsible for conducting interventions in open psychiatric care that promote health and increased quality of life. We have about 35 employees at the clinic in Bollnäs, characterized by a good working environment where we care for each other. The operations are permeated by a good reception, high accessibility, and good results.

The psychiatric clinic in Bollnäs works with two municipalities; Bollnäs and Ovanåker. As one of our nurses is retiring, we are looking for a psychiatric nurse for the bipolar team at the clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work at the clinic is carried out in close collaboration with other professional categories within the clinic and in cooperation with other public services. In addition to nurses, our clinic employs doctors, caregivers, social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries.

As a psychiatric nurse with us, you will work with:

• medication follow-up, medication management, and drug screening
• suicide prevention and structure-supporting interventions
• telephone counseling
• home visits
• supportive and motivational conversations

QUALIFICATIONS

You are confident in your professional role, have a genuine interest in working with people with mental health issues, and have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner. In the role of psychiatric nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatry
• have a valid B driver's license
• have experience working in psychiatry.
