Nurses Needed for the Psychosis Clinic in Gästrikland

We are currently seeking nurses for the Psychosis Clinic in Gästrikland. Here, you will meet patients with various psychotic disorders and their relatives. We are responsible for approximately 600 patients in three teams, two in Gävle and one in Sandviken. Our mission is structured diagnostics, care, and treatment for individuals aged 18 and above. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the psychosis clinic, you will work person-centered and recovery-oriented together with the patient, relatives, and a multidisciplinary team. You will play an important role in collaboration with municipal actors (social services, LSS, social psychiatry) as well as employers, the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Agency, and healthcare partners, as the holistic perspective is crucial for the patient's recovery. The team includes nursing staff, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and doctors. The work is varied and may involve outreach efforts in the home or other locations based on the patient's needs.

As a nurse with us, you will work with:

• suicide prevention and structure-supporting interventions
• telephone counseling and home visits
• medication follow-up, medication management, and sampling

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a flexible and committed colleague who thrives in close collaboration with all professions in a varied everyday life. To thrive in the role, you are interested in development and improvement work and are confident in your professional role, and you have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner. The work requires that you have the ability and interest to see the whole patient and their needs, and that you appreciate longer patient relationships.

In the role of nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with at least four years of work experience as a nurse
• have a valid B driver's license.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience from previous work in psychiatric outpatient care and preferably experience in psychosis care and comorbidity.
