In one of Gävle's fastest-growing residential areas in the inner harbor, where Gavleån meets the sea, lies Gävle Strand Din Hälsocentral, and we currently have about 8,200 registered patients. We are conveniently located near bus and train stations for good commuting opportunities.

The operation will become part of Region Gävleborg Din Hälsocentral AB, the company for publicly run health and child care centers in Gävleborg. The transition will take place on February 1, 2026. Together we want to develop and shape primary care and create a good working environment for managers and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, we conduct regular primary care with district nurse reception, medical reception, child health care, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home visits. We have specialist nurse receptions for asthma/COPD, diabetes, and health conversations aimed at 40-year-olds.

As a district nurse with us, you will work with:

  • varied reception work with both planned visits and urgent cases
  • telephone counseling
  • advice and assessment in our digital systems; Min vård Gävleborg and 1177 Mina vårdkontakter.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, solution-focused, and has good collaboration skills. You are resilient and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. You also want to develop the medical quality, and we welcome ideas and suggestions for improvement. Professional responsibility and a good attitude are a given for us.

In the role of district nurse, you should:

  • be a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse or a licensed nurse with at least four years of experience
  • have a B driver's license.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working in primary care and counseling, and if you have knowledge of the Cosmic journal systems.
