Business Description

The home care service's visiting efforts in the client's ordinary residence are continuously increasing, and therefore we are looking for qualified staff to join our team. The home care service provides individually assessed services in the form of personal care and assistance in ordinary housing. The services should strengthen the individual's ability to manage independently and enable them to live at home with a good quality of life. Gällivare municipality's home care consists of 6 units under the Home Care department: Northern, Southern, Close, Support Unit, Night, and Resource. All home care units have a common group room in central Gällivare. Other professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists from home healthcare and rehabilitation also work here. This unique gathering place for Home Care as a whole enables closer collaboration and personal competence and operational development.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for staff who joyfully provide professional services to our clients, bringing them joy, security at home, and being a responsive contact person. Your tasks will include providing services in the form of assistance and personal care in the individual's home based on the quality goals of the organization, where planning, follow-up, evaluation, and collaboration are important elements. The role also includes administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and representative roles related to various work areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant education, completed a 3-year nursing program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We seek someone with experience or interest in working in home care, who has a positive outlook on life and is flexible and meticulous. You should be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish. Knowledge of any of the minority languages meänkieli, Finnish, or Sami is an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued. Under the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is advantageous when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working Hours/Duration

100%. Permanent. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. A probationary period may apply.
