Care Manager Nurse at Blidösundsgården

Do you want to work with the archipelago outside your window? Now you have the opportunity to take a position as a care manager nurse for 14 residents at our nursing home in the picturesque Blidö.

Here you will have a central and significant role where you, as a nurse, are the spider in the web and you will be able to make a real difference in people's everyday lives.

About the position

The position includes standard nursing tasks with a focus on care. With us, it also includes mentoring the care staff on various care issues and delegating tasks. As a nurse, you are an important part of our work in person-centered care, BPSD, and palliative care through NVP. The working hours can vary depending on your wishes between 65-100%. Depending on the desired working hours, the schedule will be somewhat varied. The shifts are mainly scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday. If you choose to work full-time, some evening work may occur - one evening every other week, as well as a weekend shift approximately every sixth weekend.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing medical assessments
• Participating in rounds with doctors
• Mentoring and delegating tasks to care staff
• Participating in team meetings
• Medication management

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse
• Have a driver's license and driving experience

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Further education in elderly care/palliative care

You are a person who is passionate about contributing to quality and safety in care, and you appreciate being actively involved in strengthening patient safety in our nursing homes. Caring for our elderly is a given for you, and you place great value on working specifically within elderly care. You enjoy working independently, making professional assessments, and making your own decisions, while also appreciating collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. The role offers varied tasks, which suits you if you have a flexible and solution-focused working approach.

Blidösundsgården is a nursing home located on Blidö and accommodates 14 apartments. Our goal is to create a residence that we ourselves would choose to live in. We are pleased that many of our residents stay with us for a long time, which gives us many memorable meetings with our elderly and their relatives.
