Production Technician at Saab

About the Position

As a production technician, you will work closely with Saab's manufacturing processes and contribute technical expertise in both line and project activities. You will review design documentation to ensure manufacturability, prepare articles, and optimize machining methods to streamline production. The role also involves collaboration with purchasing to identify and evaluate suppliers and act as a technical advisor to ensure well-functioning systems, flows, and processes.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Downtime management and troubleshooting in production.
• Conduct investigations and improvement work.
• Streamlining production flows.
• Preparation work.
• Development and execution of FAI.

• Post-secondary education as an engineer or practical experience from a workshop in milling, turning, or cutting machining.
• Good understanding of production and manufacturing.
• Experience in troubleshooting in a production environment.
• Interest in collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in 3D-CAD.
• Experience in optimizing production flows, balancing, and reducing setup times.
