About the Position

We are looking for several strategic buyers for four units within the Department of Marine and Air Systems. The department is responsible for material that is crucial for Sweden's air and naval defense. Here, your expertise translates into concrete defense capability – with results visible in the air and at sea.

In the aviation area, you will work with:

• JAS 39 Gripen and associated weapon systems, helicopters, and aircraft
• Unmanned systems (UAV) and space systems
• Airbase and flight safety equipment, such as rescue vehicles, fuel systems, and parachutes

In the marine area, you will work with:

• Boats, surface vessels, and submarines with associated weapon and command systems
• Diving equipment and joint marine material, such as life rafts

In your role as a strategic buyer, you will drive strategic and operational procurements and shape business arrangements and procurement strategies in early stages. You will conduct negotiations, be responsible for contracts and contract management, and ensure that the deals maintain high quality from an economic, legal, and strategic perspective. The work is conducted in project form together with project managers, technical specialists, and in close collaboration with leading industry partners.

The position is located in Stockholm. Travel may occur in the position. About You

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, logistics, law, engineering, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have several years of current and relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, or alternatively, sales of technical systems. You also have experience in conducting complex business with a commercial perspective and have previously worked with contract law and negotiation. In addition, you have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have experience with procurement regulations such as LOU or LUFS, and we view positively if you have experience leading negotiations.
