Our Offer

The Infection Clinic in Östergötland is a regional clinic with operations covering the entire area of infectious diseases. The clinic has approximately 170 employees and operates around the clock with both inpatient and outpatient care at US and ViN. We are located at the University Hospital in Linköping (US), Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping (ViN), and also conduct consulting activities at the Hospital in Motala (LiM).

At our clinics, infectious diseases are treated based on our expertise and overall responsibility. Among the diagnoses are HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis, MRSA, and immunodeficiency. The clinic also has a vaccination mandate.

The Infection Clinic has extensive clinical research, both nationally and internationally, involving multiple professional disciplines. Teaching and research also occur in close collaboration with Linköping University, which permeates our operations and contributes to continuous development.

Job Description

As a healthcare administrator with us, you will be a central part of the daily work at the Infection Clinic. You will be responsible for patient administration, including registration, journal management, and appointment booking, and you will support the healthcare staff by facilitating documentation and ensuring that information flows smoothly. A significant part of the work consists of dictation, which requires accuracy, linguistic proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently. In addition, you will coordinate meetings and mailings and actively contribute to developing and improving our administrative routines.

The position is daytime, Monday to Friday.

Work Group

At the infection outpatient clinic US, there are currently seven nurses, one nursing assistant, and four healthcare administrators. The clinic also has a physiotherapist, dietitian, and social worker who can be involved as needed. We have good collaboration and high competence, and we actively work on knowledge transfer to develop together. Our goal is always to provide the best possible care with the patient at the center.

About You

We are looking for someone with education in healthcare administration or equivalent experience. You are meticulous, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize your work. You enjoy working in a team but can also take responsibility when needed. Good computer skills are a prerequisite, and experience with the journal system Cosmic is required, as it is a central part of our daily work.

Since the job involves extensive documentation, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English or other languages is an advantage.

You have the ability to plan, prioritize, and work in a structured manner. You have an empathetic ability and meet colleagues and patients based on their situation. You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in daily work. It is important that you can communicate clearly and attentively. We are looking for someone who is engaged, confident, and contributes to a positive work environment. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
