ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Lab Administrator, you are the spider in the web of the laboratory, responsible for ensuring smooth workflows and an excellent customer experience. The role involves a combination of customer contact, administrative work, and handling technical equipment. In close collaboration with the lab manager and the calibration team, you will maintain ongoing contact with customers as well as manage deliveries and administration while contributing to a positive work environment.

This is initially a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed as a project consultant with us at Academic Work. If the collaboration works well between all parties, there are good opportunities for a permanent position with the client in the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
The role of Lab Administrator is multifaceted and involves handling everything from customer communication and administrative support to practical handling of technical instruments. You will be a key person in the daily operations of the laboratory and contribute to solving complex issues.
- Handle incoming customer contact via phone and email.
- Assist customers visiting the laboratory.
- Be responsible for receiving and unpacking technical instruments.
- Perform functional checks and minor servicing on instruments, such as battery replacements and identifying serial numbers.
- Structure and sort the laboratory's incoming cases.
- Be a central contact point for the laboratory's daily workflows.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a completed high school education.
- Has a genuine technical interest.
- Has experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required for the job.
