Care Assistant at Solåsen and Skogstorp Care and Nursing Home

Do you want to help create a meaningful everyday life for the elderly? Then you could be our new colleague! Solåsen is located in Hållsta, about ten kilometers south of central Eskilstuna. The facility has 24 apartments spread over three floors, with an elevator. There are also three cozy outdoor areas available. A care and nursing home is a residence for individuals who need care around the clock.

This spring, we will move to Skogstorps care and nursing home, which is a brand new facility. The residence will consist of three floors where 48 apartments on the upper floors are designated for care and nursing, and 14 apartments on the ground floor are for respite care and associated day activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant with us, your main responsibilities will be to provide person-centered care and support to residents in their daily life situations according to care decisions. In this role, you will have delegation, work with documentation, and establish implementation plans. Cleaning common areas to maintain a pleasant environment is also part of the job.

We work based on a person-centered approach where the resident is in focus, and their abilities and resources are utilized. The execution of our services is planned together with the resident, and we always try to take their wishes into account. We are eager to be attentive and respect personal integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has a B driver's license or lives in the local area (public transport does not always match our working hours). You have experience with documentation in Viva or a similar system. You also need to be open to delegation. It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care.

We seek someone who is an empathetic person, easily able to make new contacts, and can adapt to different residents' needs. You work from a rehabilitative perspective and feel confident in the role of a care assistant. It is important that you are attentive and respect personal integrity. You have a positive outlook and the ability to see the whole picture. You are curious and want to help develop the organization. We appreciate good collaboration skills and a strong service mindset in your relationships with colleagues, residents, and relatives.
