Care for People with Disabilities
As part of Region Gotland, the social administration is responsible for social services, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities throughout Gotland.
Our approximately 1900 employees contribute to creating an efficient operation that puts the customer at the center. Care for people with disabilities is looking for individuals across Gotland who want to make a difference.
We are now looking for you who want to become a contact person.
Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a positive and driven person with a strong commitment and interest in people. You have some time to support, help, and socialize with another person for a few hours a week. The main task of the contact person is to serve as personal support and companionship in various situations.
The primary purpose is for the user to be able to get out of the house and do something together with you, such as having coffee, walking, talking, shopping, going on excursions, or anything else based on their wishes and interests.
Employment Conditions:
Being a contact person is not an employment but a task. As a contact person, you will receive a fee as compensation for the task and a reimbursement to cover expenses for, e.g., coffee and other activities. This is paid out monthly. The fee and reimbursement follow the guidelines of Sweden's municipalities and regions.
Who are you?
You do not need any previous experience in the profession, but it is an advantage if you have an education focused on children, care, and social work or if you have experience working with children or adults with disabilities.

Our areas of operation are social services, home healthcare, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities throughout Gotland.
