About the job as a personal assistant:

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a customer in Visby.

You will work for a person with a spinal cord injury and closely assist them in their daily life. Your workplace is wherever the person is, and tasks vary from day to day, with no prior experience required.

Job Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include helping the customer with physical assistance, assisting with practical tasks, and accompanying the customer to their workplace. You will also have access to a personal room where you can rest between your shifts. Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle and may vary from day to day. Some common tasks include:

• Physical assistance
• Personal hygiene
• Assistance with transfers
• Household chores
• Cooking
• Assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.

We are looking for someone who is:

• responsible
• able to work independently
• good at following instructions.

It is an advantage if you are smoke-free and vape-free.

As the customer gives instructions verbally, it is important that you are fluent in Swedish.

Qualifications

Qualifications are advantageous but not required.

At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and access to training for the role of personal assistant.

About the employment

The workplace is located in Visby, and there are pets at the workplace.

We are looking for people for a fixed schedule, but we are also happy to receive applications from those who want to work as substitutes and extra when needed.

The employment type is "Temporary - as long as the assistance assignment lasts" and recruitment is ongoing with immediate placement.

The shifts are 24-hour shifts with waiting time, scheduled on a rolling basis with 1-2 shifts/week.

Hourly wage and other employment conditions according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.

Recruitment Process:

Candidates who proceed in the recruitment are invited to a second interview with the recruiter and the customer for whom the position is.
