foodora market continues to grow, develop, and expand at an extremely fast pace! We are currently breaking new ground in the entire grocery retail sector. We provide so-called Dmarts (darkstores) and ensure that our customers receive their goods within minutes, based on a wide range of food products. Exciting, right?

We are currently looking for an Assistant Grocery Store Manager for foodora market in Umeå. No two days will be the same, that’s something we can guarantee! With us, you will show and teach our employees how to best perform their work in a grocery store and how they can work efficiently and smartly in product picking. Furthermore, you will support the store manager with staff scheduling, conduct motivational conversations, and be responsible for recruiting pickers. WHAT YOU WILL (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) DO

• Support the store manager in the overall responsibility for the store's operations and its daily activities

• Support the store manager in leading and distributing work, coaching and training the store team, and working together to create a pleasant workplace while optimizing the store's results

• Assist the store manager in implementing food safety, systematic work environment efforts, staff meetings, employee conversations, personnel administration, and more

• Assist the store manager in leading and planning the ongoing work with both staff and budget fulfillment, including staffing, scheduling, recruitment, product ordering, and inventory management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Perhaps you have previous experience as an assistant store manager, warehouse manager, team leader, or you have worked in a store/warehouse and want more responsibilities?

• You are a master when it comes to efficiency in product picking, which you are more than happy to coach staff on.

• It is an advantage if you have had personnel responsibility.

• If you have a relevant post-secondary education for the position, it is considered a merit.

• It is also advantageous if you have previous experience in the food industry.

• You can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
