Sustainable transport, efficient operations, and continuous improvements are a natural part of our daily routine.

About the role

As a Production Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations in warehouse production during the evening shift. You lead, prioritize, and make decisions close to the operations to ensure that production delivers according to goals, plans, and budgets. The role has a clear operational focus where you work close to the flow, lead and distribute work in real-time, and drive the business towards set KPIs and results. You have personnel responsibility for a small group of employees where you coach, develop, and follow up on both individuals and teams. Through present leadership, you create engagement, build team spirit, and ensure a safe and sustainable work environment. This is a role for you who thrives in operations, acts in the moment, and drives work forward with a focus on results.

What will you do?

  • Lead, plan, and distribute the daily work in warehouse production to achieve set goals
  • Be present in operations, make real-time decisions, and ensure a stable and efficient flow
  • Plan and staff the business based on needs and resources so that goods are handled and delivered on time and in the correct form
  • Act as a clear leader in everyday life by actively coaching, motivating, and following up on employees in their work
  • Have personnel responsibility, including work conversations, development conversations, workplace meetings, and rehabilitation cases
  • Ensure that work is carried out according to current routines, laws, and agreements, and promote good employee relations
  • Create conditions for a strong team spirit and a good collaboration climate
  • Drive active work environment work by identifying and following up on deviations, and working with IA (Action Plan for Occupational Health and Safety), near misses, risk assessments, and safety rounds
  • Coordinate processes and collaborate with other functions to ensure efficient and trouble-free operations
  • Follow up on results and drive improvements in working methods and flows

We are looking for you who

Are a structured and proactive leader who thrives in a role close to operations where you take responsibility for both results and people. You have the ability to create structure in daily work, motivate and engage your employees, and follow up on both performance and development in a clear and continuous manner. With natural drive, you work solution-oriented and handle challenges as they arise. You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and maintain a holistic perspective where you prioritize what is best for the business.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

  • A completed upper secondary education
  • Experience from warehouse, production, or logistics operations
  • Experience leading work in an operational environment
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritize in a high-tempo business
  • Good communication skills and a genuine interest in leadership

It is meritorious if you have education in logistics, leadership, or work environment, experience in improvement work (preferably within Lean), and previous experience as a manager.

Your workplace

In Umeå, approximately 200 colleagues work. You will become part of a team with other Production Managers and report to the Process Manager. The role involves close collaboration both within the Production Manager team and with other functions in the business. Here you meet an inclusive culture where we together create results and build a strong community.

You will also enjoy appreciated employee benefits such as lunch benefits and a generous wellness allowance that can be used for e.g., gym memberships or massage, as well as an appreciated breakfast/lunch subsidy and access to a gym.
