Field Technician in Radio Technology

ABOUT THE POSITION

Celab is a Swedish company specializing in solutions for critical communication. Their services are used in several safety-critical environments, such as emergency services, police, healthcare, and industry. As an official Motorola partner, they work with cutting-edge technical solutions alongside leading manufacturers and developers in areas such as push-to-talk (PPT) communication - from classic analog radios to broadband-based PTT solutions and everything in between. They work daily with service, deployment, and maintenance of solutions related to: RAKEL, TETRA, PTT-Over Cellular, and intercom. They are now seeking additional support for their technical team in Fruängen to strengthen their expertise ahead of an upcoming retirement. At Celab, you will be welcomed into a family-like team of about ten (Stockholm, including Länna) technicians who strive to deliver high quality and service to their customers.

In this role, you will work both at the facility in Fruängen and travel out to perform work on-site with customers. To thrive in this role, you enjoy problem-solving and social interactions to deliver the best solution for each customer assignment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Parameter setting (programming) of radio devices and other products
• Installation, deployment, and maintenance of products and systems
• Providing support to customers on how to best maintain systems and technology

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed secondary education in a relevant technical field such as electrical and energy programs, engineering science, or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role as a field technician, service technician, or equivalent, where you have experience in carrying out assignments at customer sites
• Knowledge and/or experience in radio technology, as well as analog and digital electronics. Knowledge in: RAKEL, TETRA, PTT-Over Cellular, and intercom will be highly valued.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as you will regularly use both languages in your daily work
• Driver's license B

It will also be highly meritorious if you have:

• A post-secondary education from, for example, YH in radio technology, telecommunications, or operational technology
• Knowledge of networks and IP communication
