About the Position

We are now looking for a licensed electrician for the position of service electrician at Sherwin-Williams.

As an electrician, you will work closely with operators, mechanics, and other production staff, focusing on performing electrical maintenance in the factory. You will set up and ensure compliance with their self-monitoring programs for both their factory in Märsta and in Bellö in Småland. Occasional travel may occur as part of the job.

Independence and collaboration are both important, as you will need to work both independently and together with others. You will report to Engineering Manager Stefan Jirhede.

The start date is as soon as possible. You will work daytime hours.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Ensuring that all electrical installation work is performed correctly and that Sherwin-Williams complies with electrical safety laws and related regulations.
Collaborating with your colleagues to tackle technical challenges and improve processes.
Developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize the performance of our facilities.
Interfacing with operators, technicians, and other production staff to understand and communicate improvements that need to be made and have been made.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Reading technical diagrams and drawings.
Performing general electrical maintenance.
Inspecting transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshooting electrical problems with appropriate testing devices.
Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Evaluating necessary spare parts for the equipment.

Your Profile

A requirement to be considered for the role is that you are trained and have general authorization.
You have previous experience in maintenance work, troubleshooting, repair, and machine construction and have solid knowledge in low and high voltage as well as a deep understanding of electrical systems.
If you have experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated industrial plants, and/or robotic processes, this is an advantage.
