About the position

As a Service Technician, you are part of our dedicated Service team and report to the Service Team Leader. You are responsible for managing incoming repair requests and technical questions from our customers, with the goal of delivering fast and professional solutions according to agreed service levels (SLA). You will primarily repair and troubleshoot handheld devices such as scanners and label printers, and then prepare finished devices for shipment to customers.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Registering incoming repair requests in our business system.
• Assessing and recommending appropriate service actions for IT equipment.
• Creating and sending cost estimates and quotes to customers.
• Keeping customers continuously informed about the status of the service process.
• Maintaining ongoing dialogue with customers and suppliers (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, and Datalogic).
• Logging all cases and customer communication in our case management system.

Contract repairs and exchange pool cases have the highest priority and must be handled with precision and speed according to the applicable agreements.

Is technically skilled, solution-oriented, and has previously worked in a role where hardware service was part of your daily routine. You have a structured approach to work, are meticulous in your documentation, and find it easy to communicate with internal colleagues, customers, and suppliers. We also appreciate if you possess leadership qualities and find management particularly enjoyable.

• Has a good understanding of hardware and IT equipment.
• Is comfortable with systems and able to work in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Has strong communication skills and good social abilities.
• Has a desire to contribute to the team's development and the customers' experience.

About the employment

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately with a maximum of 1 month's notice. The assignment initially runs for 6 months and will then transition to employment with the client company, provided that both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Working hours: 07:00–16:00
Start: Immediate - max 1 month's notice
Salary: Fixed salary
