Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

I am a soon-to-be 14-year-old girl who loves to be active! I need you as support to do things like going for walks, visiting museums, painting, playing, and playing instruments. You are welcome to suggest your own activities that we can explore together. I also need help with all my basic needs. I do not have a spoken language, but I use some signs and other communication methods, and as you get to know me, you will understand me better. Even though I can walk, I often sit in a wheelchair when going on outings.

I live with my family (parents and siblings) in Spånga. During the day, I attend a special needs school. I need your help mainly on weekday evenings and weekends.

I am looking for someone who is very patient, resourceful, positive, responsible, calm, and curious to get to know me. I have multiple disabilities, including epilepsy, motor difficulties, and intellectual disabilities. We welcome female applicants. Experience with low-arousal approaches is a plus.

The Position:

11 hours/week (27.5%)

The hours are weekday evenings (approximate times) 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM and weekends 11 AM - 9 PM. Some weekends will require double assistance for activities.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Bambi has an obligation to check anyone offered work with a minor against the police criminal record. This means that upon employment, we will request a criminal record extract from you before you can start working. You will order the extract according to LSS from the police.
