JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

Axis Communications is looking for an experienced Backend Developer for its Operations Tools team in Lund. Here, you will be involved in further developing internal, business-critical systems that enable Axis to manage return and repair flows globally.

The role suits you who want to work closely with the business, take responsibility, and develop solutions that are used every day worldwide. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product owners, and various parts of the business, such as service, support, and logistics. The team is responsible for the entire lifecycle, from new development, further development to operations and improvements.

In summary, you will:

  • Build robust and scalable backend services that handle business-critical flows. You ensure that the systems are stable, maintainable, and meet the business needs
  • Develop and further develop services that together form a larger system, focusing on clear interfaces, communication between services, and scalability
  • Participate in the entire lifecycle of the systems, from idea and design to implementation, optimization, and ongoing support. You identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that simplify everyday life for users
  • Work together with colleagues across different roles and departments to understand needs, prioritize the right functionality, and deliver solutions that create value for the business
  • Be involved in automated build and release flows, ensuring that code is tested and deployed smoothly, and contribute to stable and efficient production environments
  • Development in a large internal system

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or equivalent
  • Has work experience from a similar role where you have worked with Java and Spring Boot
  • Understands microservices and integrations
  • Has experience with Git/GitHub and is accustomed to working in teams
  • You can take responsibility for your parts of the system, navigate in complex environments, and drive tasks forward while collaborating closely with colleagues and the business

It is a merit if you have

  • Knowledge of React, TypeScript, Next.js
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu
  • Experience with CI/CD
