Your Role

As a trainer at SAAB in Solna, you will be a key player in our dynamic Training Team, where we work to create course materials, plan, conduct, and evaluate training for Saab's customers. You will train and work with competent and technically interested individuals. Here you have a chance to grow both professionally and personally by:

• Conducting training and courses both within and outside Sweden.
• Representing SAAB at courses and demonstrations, and being an ambassador for our brand.
• Diving deeper into your knowledge of software and hardware.
• Creating and developing course materials.

The position is initially based in Solna. The job involves travel both nationally and internationally.

Your Profile

To thrive as a trainer with us, you have a technical background - and it can look different in various ways.

You might have a hands-on profile, perhaps as a mechanic or electrical installer, where you have worked for a few years with mechanical or electrical systems. You are used to working methodically, using tools like torque wrenches and troubleshooting complex equipment. Alternatively, you may come from a more theoretical and analytical environment, such as an engineer or researcher, with experience in radar, radar theory, or advanced electrical schematics.

Regardless of your background, we value experience with technical equipment, mechanical or electrical components, ESD-sensitive parts, and problem-solving.

You thrive in a flexible and supportive work environment where collaboration is central, while also being self-driven and taking the initiative to push work forward with a strong sense of responsibility.

We are looking for someone with one or more of the following skills and experiences;

• Technical understanding and holistic view
• Knowledge of radar and/or electrical engineering
• Experience in troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of both technical hardware and software
• Experience in working with training and developing courses and pedagogy
• Good written and spoken skills in English and Swedish

It is also meritorious to have:

• Experience with military technical systems
• Experience from combat simulators/battle management systems

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, citizenship may be required.
