The Experience Administration is responsible for cultural, sports, and leisure issues in Enköping and has about 130 employees with extensive expertise in two areas of operation and a management team. We are in an expansive phase, including the renovation and development of the cultural house Joar and a new youth center with a sports hall in Lillsidan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The school library operations are part of the educational activities at the school, where you play an important role in contributing to students' academic achievements. You support and inspire in the reading promotion work and teach students a critical approach to sources. You collaborate with school management and educational staff regarding students' learning and enhance their reading and communication skills in an expanded text world.

The majority of your working hours will be at Bergvretenskolan, which is a grade F-9 school. A smaller part of the position is located at Fjärdhundraskolan (grade F-9) and the city library.

QUALIFICATIONS

A university degree in library and information science and pedagogical education or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

We are looking for someone who:

• has knowledge and experience in conveying and inspiring reading of children's and youth literature as well as adult literature.
• has a good understanding of how children and young people absorb knowledge and can develop their ability to understand, evaluate, use, and express themselves through media and other information channels.
• is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A driving license (B) is an advantage.

• service-oriented with the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You are attentive and accommodating in your interactions.
• flexible, proactive, and results-oriented.

To succeed in your role, it is crucial that you are outgoing and good at creating contacts and building relationships with students and educators.
