We are looking for an employee for our cinema in Enköping. The work is located at Sagabiograferna Ågatan 29. To work at the cinema, you should be technically inclined as the films are delivered digitally. You should be service-minded and also good at mental arithmetic, which is needed in certain situations at the cash register. Do not underestimate this. You must be able to serve customers quickly as there can be many visitors in a short time. Therefore, you must be able to handle both mentally and physically that there are many people in line in front of you and that you yourself should manage that stressful situation.

It is important that you who are applying are used to taking responsibility and can work independently. It is preferable if you have cash experience, but it is not a requirement. It is an advantage if you live near the cinema. Since the cinema has relatively few employees, it is important to be flexible and able to step in at short notice, for example, in case of illness.

The work at the cinema, which begins immediately after a short introduction, includes managing the technical execution of film screenings as well as cash services and cleaning before/after/during the screening. In-depth training will then take place gradually. The job also includes handling and preparing upcoming films that are delivered digitally via various servers. The cinema is fully computerized regarding both screening and ticket systems.

The work is mainly scheduled for evenings and weekends. During larger premieres, the screenings may be extended, as well as during school holidays, when the number of performances increases significantly both during the day and in the evening.

We also show films on certain weekdays during the day, for example, for pensioners and schools, so it is very meritorious to be able to work occasional weekdays during the day. As a cinema employee, you have a great responsibility for the cleaning of the cinema. While the films are running, there is continuous work with cleaning in common areas, machine rooms, and cash registers. You also refill drinks and candy in the kiosk when the films have started and all auditoriums are running. Between performances, cleaning also takes place in the auditoriums. You have a great responsibility for keeping the cinema clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The work is therefore also physically demanding.

There are more people working at the cinema, and a work schedule is created.

The position is considered to be part-time when looking at the number of hours.

The minimum age is 18 years to work at the cinema, but we prefer that you are older or significantly older. Even if you are a pensioner, you are welcome for a pleasant part-time job.
