Our Operations

The postoperative department within the anesthesia section has 15 care places and receives patients around the clock. Patients primarily come from surgical and orthopedic operations and during on-call hours also from other surgical clinics. Collaboration also occurs with the central intensive care unit (CIVA). Postoperative care is under constant development to meet patients' care needs.

Your Mission

Now you have the chance to challenge yourself and come to a very pleasant workplace! The workplace is characterized by a varied job where you constantly meet new patients with different types of postoperative monitoring needs. You will learn everything from simpler postoperative monitoring to caring for patients with needs for postoperative intermediate care and postoperative intensive care. Here you will constantly learn new things and develop your skills.

You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will also work independently. There is also the opportunity to shadow in the department if you wish.

Your Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant with experience in the profession. We prefer that you have at least two years of experience working as a nursing assistant in a hospital. It is also meritorious if you have worked in the anesthesia and operating department or another postoperative department.

Your Competence

You always focus on the patient and are responsible and motivated in your work. You are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to good collaboration and a good working environment. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach while seeing opportunities in changes. If you combine this with curiosity and precision, you may be right for us.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position at 100% with start date according to agreement. You will also be offered:

  • At least four weeks of introduction
  • A basic training for nursing assistants in Postoperative Care.
  • Friskhuset, with a gym and several group training sessions as well as access to physiotherapists and massage among many other things
