Care Assistant for Short-Term Accommodation Linden

We are now looking for a care assistant for our short-term accommodation, Linden. Here, clients with various needs stay, for example, while waiting for special housing, during illness with cognitive impairment, social difficulties, rehabilitation needs, or end-of-life care. The accommodation has space for 12 clients, and the staffing consists of 15 care assistants who work in teams together with assessors, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will work based on the individual needs and conditions of the clients. Your tasks will include personal care, healthcare tasks according to delegation, end-of-life care, and participation in various training programs and individually planned activities.

Your work will also include meal preparation and other practical tasks in the living environment.

Documentation according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act is a natural and important part of the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has experience working in elderly care. You are confident and responsible in your professional role and work professionally according to applicable routines and guidelines.

Working in short-term accommodation involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals, which requires good teamwork skills and an empathetic, respectful approach that contributes to the clients' safety and a good care environment.

You have a strong service mindset, are attentive to clients' needs, and communicate clearly. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills, as documentation is an important part of the job. You also have the ability to handle stressful and varied situations professionally.

Experience working in short-term accommodation, rehabilitation, or care for complex health needs is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To work in our operations, you must be at least 18 years old.

To work with us, you are required to present a valid extract from the police criminal record. The extract can be ordered free of charge at www.polisen.se to a digital mailbox or by post. When ordering by post, the processing time is usually one to two weeks.
