Do you want to help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for the elderly? We are now looking for care assistants for Järpegatan Special Housing. The facility is centrally located in Grums, close to a bus stop. There are 30 apartments spread over three floors, with both common areas and an outdoor space that invites community and outdoor activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will perform qualified care and service tasks based on individual needs and conditions. Our mission is to create good conditions for a meaningful and enriching everyday life for the residents, as well as to strengthen and preserve their well-being.

You will work with a professional, individualized approach where respect for the individual, participation, and self-determination are fundamental in everything you do. The care and service tasks are of high quality and characterized by a clear focus on the individual.

• Personal care
• Medical tasks as delegated
• Cooking and other practical tasks in the living environment
• Support in daily living based on individual needs
• Contributing to meaningful activities and social community
• Documentation according to social services and healthcare laws

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has experience working in elderly care. You are confident and responsible in your professional role and work professionally according to applicable routines and guidelines.

Working in special housing involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues, which requires good teamwork skills and an empathetic, respectful approach that contributes to the safety of the residents and a good working environment.

You have a high sense of service, are attentive to the residents' needs, and communicate clearly. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills, as documentation is an important part of the job. You also have the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in special housing, preferably in dementia care, or have specialized training in dementia. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To work in our facilities, you must be at least 18 years old.
