Are you a communicative person with previous experience of being the spider in the web within construction and property projects? Entrecon Consulting has several requests from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/construction engineers in construction and property.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and customers. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

In the role of construction engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in production together with the project manager and site manager as well as support functions. You will work broadly and be responsible for production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, and have contact with client representatives, managing financial settlements with clients and subcontractors. In the role of construction engineer, you participate in all phases of the client's construction or civil engineering projects, from the planning stage to the technical completion of the project. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, handle procurements, prepare cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documentation. KMA issues may also be part of the tasks.

Competence

We are looking for someone with at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:

· Forecasting and cost estimation

· Project economics, schedules, work preparations

· Resource allocation, purchasing, and changes.

· KMA

You have a post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through work experience.

We also expect you to have good knowledge of construction law and technical competence, negotiation skills, and be accustomed to working with profitability and business acumen in focus. Other competencies we value are your ability to create relationships and networks, as well as your adaptability to changing circumstances. A valid driver's license (B) and good IT skills are required.
