Event Hosts Wanted at Härnösand Theatre!

Härnösand Theatre is a vibrant venue for dance, theatre, music, film, and other cultural activities that annually welcome audiences and visitors. We have two stages, a foyer with catering, rehearsal and conference rooms. In Härnösand, cultural life has ample space; we collaborate with Scenkonst Västernorrland, Riksteatern, non-profit and commercial actors, and host national and international guest performances.

We are now looking for event hosts for Härnösand Theatre!

As an event host, you are the face of the performances and events. You welcome the audience, check tickets, and manage entry and exit from the auditorium, and you are expected to be present and attentive in this role. As an event host, you may also be responsible for welcoming artists, showing them to the dressing room, and assisting to ensure that the performance runs smoothly.

Together with the technical team, you are also responsible for the safety of the audience, which means we believe you are meticulous and calm in stressful situations. We think you are independent, solution-oriented, social, and enjoy working in a team. You also care about providing excellent service. Experience with children and youth is an advantage.

We are looking for event hosts who can work as needed, for both adult performances and school performances, which means that both day and evening shifts are relevant.

Are you interested in performing arts and have education and previous experience in service work and audience engagement? You are at least 18 years old and can express yourself in spoken and written Swedish - but also in English? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

To be considered for employment, you must, at the time of the interview:

• Have the right to work in Sweden and present a valid work permit.
• If necessary, show a valid driver's license.
• If necessary, provide valid professional certification.
