Furan is looking for a housing supervisor for a temporary position when regular staff are absent.

The work includes day, evening, weekend, and on-call duties.

Your tasks

You will, based on a humanistic view of people, be involved in the work at an LSS housing where people with intellectual disabilities live. Each tenant has their own influence, participation, and self-determination in their lives. Great emphasis is placed on approach and attitude.

The integrity of each individual must be respected to provide each tenant with a good living environment and a rich leisure time. The work is characterized by a solution-focused approach. Furan is located in a scenic Bullmark, about thirty kilometers outside Umeå. The LSS housing includes five tenants living in their own apartments, in the same building with common areas.

Many of our tenants at Furan are animal lovers, which means we have a cat in the residence and various animals in Furan's daily activities.

You will be part of a team, which requires you to have a good ability to collaborate with others. It requires personal responsibility regarding contacts with others in the tenant's social network, and it is important to understand that we work with assignment descriptions and quality requirements.

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, leisure pedagogue, or has equivalent education based on the requirements of the operation. You are social, ambitious, enjoy challenges, and are flexible. You should be able to work both independently and in a group, have great patience, and be interested in both care work and nursing work. As the job involves documentation, we prefer that you have computer skills.

We would like you to have previous experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, and if you can use sign language, it is an advantage.

You must have a driver's license and access to a car as transportation is limited in Bodbyn/Bullmark.
